Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my purchase of Scancat- Gold SE. I tried several free downloads and always came back to Scancat. The program is worth every penny paid. I can control two radios with one program. The best thing is the owners manual, which is one of the main reasons along with great tech support by e-mail or phone that I convinced me to purchase the program. The more I read the manual the more I see how versatile the program is.

I spoke with you Friday afternoon about the problems I had getting Scancat for windows to communicate with WIN95. Scancat for DOS worked fine but the windows version didn't. Using your suggestions, I figured out that I had to create 2 hardware profiles in WIN95 where in one profile, Scancat would have exclusive use of COMM 1. That did the trick and I'm just trying to tweak the Scancat for Windows version......Thanks for your help.... I wish there were more companies with your level of customer assistance.... Alan K.

Thanks for Scancat Gold for Windows, the best scanning programme I've tried and I've tried a few. The Search by text is especially good, I've a database of just over 5000 allocations and I can easily scan for a particular user. I use it professionally, I work for the UK equivalent of the NAB and I'm a Director of the company which allocates Outside Broadcast (remote) frequencies for UK broadcasters so it's ideal. Especially good is the ability to use non native formats, I use Foxpro for my allocations databases.

Since purchasing ScanCat Gold for Windows I have been using it exclusively in all of my monitoring. It has surpassed the original ScanCat for DOS. Keep up the good work. Bob M.
