            Why no software support for these Whistler

     (  MDL's    TRX-1,    TRX-2,    WS1080,    WS1095,   WS1088,    WS1098 )   

     This also applies to Radio Shack / GRE scanners PRO-668, PSR700, PSR800

We constantly get calls for better programming software for these new Whistler Scanners. But Unfortunately, Whistler has taken the official position that they will not release programming protocols for ANY third party software development.  Period.

What this "means" is ...you do not have any choice - use "their" software - take it or leave it.
                                          not to mention.....
             Z E R O  availability of any other Software Alternatives. -  Z E R O

  We all know OEM software is notoriously "Spartan"
    So - unless  you wish to settle for less - You have to ask yourself, - what gives ?

      Quite Honestly, nothing would please us more than if Whistler chose to support
         3rd party developers efforts - But the sad fact is.... they refuse to do so

   So - in good conscience,we can not recommend companies
          that do not support the Scanner Community  ( Whistler )

   If you haven't already purchased one of the Whistler units,

   ... then perhaps you should take a serious look at "these" units
           which are the equivalency of the Whistler scanners
