Don't give up... here's a neat and cheap way to mount most ''removeable face plate
Ham Rigs'' onto your ''Plastic Dash''. If you have any kind of pull out drawer for drinks or coins, then it's a ready made ''extendable mount'' for your rig's faceplate. AS a bonus, it's really nice to be able to extend the control panel within reach while cruising.

Then, use the rig's extender cord and stuff the ''guts'' under your car seat.

All parts were purchased (and modified) from a Home Depot Hardware aisle.
