The simplest thing to do "first" is to put the RSD BONUS CD into the CD Drive and when it Boots up at the bottom is an Input to choose a STATE

Pick your state and then at the next screen pick your County

When the file shows up on your BROWSER'S SCREEN
        USE SAVE FILE AS
        and save it to c:\program Files\Scancat-Lite-Plus

Since these RSD files are already made up as Personal Database Files which Scancat Uses to program the radio - this would be the easiest way to start learning.

So - mply load that file into Scancat using FILE/LOAD PERSONAL FILE

THEN - the only thing you have to do is just pick "LOAD/READ Radio" from the top menu and follow the instructions

To learn how to use the MR Scanner CD, there are three files in the application folder which is at
        c:\program Files\Scancat-Lite-Plus
These files are titled:

        MrScannerToScancat-Lite-1.txt
        MrScannerToScancat-Lite-2.txt
        MrScannerToScancat-Lite-3.txt

They explain in detail how to export files from that CD and then how to use those files in Scancat-Lite to make your Personal database file which is what is used to program the radio.

YOu may also need to call Mr.Scanner and have them explain more if this is not sufficient. While we sell their Mr.Scanner CD, they know more about how to use their own product.
