RE: SCANCAT-LITE-PLUS ERROR WHEN INSTALLED ON WINDOWS VISTA

"RMPWEBBROWSER.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly
registered: a file is missing or invalid

THIS IS THE FINAL "SOLUTION"
SO TAKE A LOOK BELOW ON HOW TO SOLVE THIS "ISSUE".

It worked.  I found out that you need to have full administrative rights to
get Scancat and the .OCX file to register properly.  You also have to run
the program you shared with me in full administrator mode.

Thanks!!

First try this suggestion. It will usually fix problems with controls
that are not being registered into the windows registry. It is also
possible that the new VISTA has a different folder/path to where the
OCX files are normally registered.

If this doesn't solve it, let me know

SOMEtimes, RMPWEBBROWSER.OCX will not register. You can try to
reinstall our software a 2nd time (just install it again in same
location without deleting the first one).
                         or
This is the location for a utility that should register the "missing ocx".

You may have to use the Windows "search" or "Find" function to locate
the OCX file, but normally it is in the c:\windows\system folder.

99.9% of the time this is the "cure", but if that still doesn't fix
it, then let me know and we can proceed from there.
