ANSWER:

HI

I see you purchase the Scancat-Lite-Plus AND the Mr. Scanner CD. Of course the CD's must be mailed, and when you get them it "Will be" easier.

Here is a couple of links on our website, one of which pertains to the how to use the Mr. Scanner CD's.

www.scancat.com/MrScanner_HTML_Tutorials

                and

        www.scancat.com/onlinehelp
Look for the Mr. Scanner HTML tutorials.

        However
the tutorials will not make as much sense, until you actually get them.

If you have a specific "issue", just ask, and I can help

FYI - What we send you are RSD files,
and here is a small tip on how to use them

Best regards

Jim

Look for this file in your UNZIPPED download of ARSDCD.ZIP
        mainindex.html
Click on it, choose a state and then the COUNTY for your area.

These are files that your local Radio Shack would be using. -
so while they are not as complete as a full "search", it will give you a head start.

When you click on a county link, the database will appear in your browser,
It will be a screen full of data enclosed in commas and quote signs,

You need to use "SAVE PAGE AS" (or) "SAVE TARGET AS"
and save it to this folder on your hard drive.
        "C:\Program Files\Scancat-Lite-Plus"
                        or
        "C:\Program Files\Scancat-Lite-Plus/RSD_DatabaseFiles"

Then start SC-Lite and use "load file >>> Personal Database file
        - select the file for your "county" (The one you just saved)
        - choose "LOAD"
and it will be loaded into the "grid".

Now that you have the frequencies loaded you can choose to
edit this file to add or change  frequencies if desired
     then From Top Menu pick
        Load/Read Radio
           >  "Program Entire radio..."
