Pain' Per'du (French Toast) 1 cup Pet cream or milk 3/4 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 tbs. cinnamon 6 slices stale bread 3 tbs. butter 3 tbs. olive oil Whip two eggs. Add sugar, cinnamon, liquid and vanilla. Dip bread in mixture. Place 1 tbs. butter, 1 tbs. oil in hot frying pan. Fry two slices on both sides til golden brown. Dip additional slices bread and repeat procedure. Sprnkle with powdered sugar or your favorite syrup. Serves 3
